Cassell's Music garnered International fame in the early 90's when it was used as a filming location for the famous music store scene in the blockbuster hit"Wayne's World". Over a four day filming period in 1991, Cassell's was magically transformed into Wayne and Garth's home music store located in small-town Aurora, IL. Cassell's was chosen after a nationwide search by Paramount Pictures location scouts who determined that our variety of instruments, openness of space, and overall appearance best suited the 'look' they were after. The cast and crew were fantastic to work with and there were many laughs had as the scenes were rehearsed and shot. Cassell's provided many props and even contributed to a script rewrite. Pictured below is the sign Paramount built for display during the filming of the movie.
