Hi! I'm Ed Intagliata the owner/manager of Cassell's Music. My father, Sal, and I bought the store from a retiring Al Cassell in 1978. The store has been in San Fernando, Ca. since 1947. Consequently, we have quite a long history with many of our local customers. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 1976 with a major in Music Education. After graduating, I worked for a season in the complaint department at Sears. During that time I had the tremendous opportunity to be trained by an organization that many consider to be the best in retail and customer service. Sears' training along with my music education and over 32 years in the music retail business has equipped me to provide what I believe is the utmost in customer satisfaction. The hundreds of regular customers I'm on a first name basis with can attest to that. My background also includes having sung in the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Hollywood Symphony Orchestra Choir, and the contemporary ensemble "Joyful Sound". I play bass and keyboard on our church worship team and am the assistant choir director at Placerita Baptist Church in Newhall, CA. In the late 80's, I co-founded the contemporary Christian band, "Peaceful Heart", which ministered to various churches, juvenile halls, and state prisons. Additionally, I write Christian songs and have had several showcased on a Christian radio station. Even as the owner, you will find me everyday on the floor helping all the customers with their needs whether great or small. The person buying one pick receives the same attention as the person buying a $10,000 PA system. I look forward to serving you and adding your name to the thousands of satisfied customers that Cassell's Music has made over the years.

Tina Wood is one of the most sought after guitar technicians in the Southern California area. She came to the United States from Britain in the late 80's as a guitarist in a band that eventually broke up. However, thanks to a background that included training and experience in guitar-making, repair, and electronics she has been able to establish a large base of extremely satisfied guitar clients. (Many well-known performers and studio musicians bring their guitars to Tina to be setup before every gig.) Today Tina plays in the band Thundherstruck We count it a privilege that Tina is part of our Cassell's Music team. Please e-mail us if you have any guitar tech questions that we can pass on to Tina. |
